The Counter

I had heard a lot about the counter in L.A. and when they opened one in Pasadena I was excited to try it. It’s a build your own burger place. Food is good.   My burger was a bit on the greasy side but I guess that’s why it was good.  We shared sweet potato fries, onion rings..which were more like onion strings and regular french fries.  The sweet potato fries were good but the best ones I’ve had are from here.IMG_0815the menu.  they give everyone a clip board and a pencil to check whatever items you want on your burger.  you can choose up to 4 toppings and there are premium toppings for a $1 each.  they have a variety of milkshakes and feature flavors of the month which was a candy corn shake and a burger of the month which was a halibut burger.IMG_0820sweet potato fries, french fries and onion rings with 4 different dipping sauces.  Garlic aoli, bbq sauce, ranch and horseradish mayoIMG_0821IMG_0824IMG_0825IMG_0827this was my burger, 1/3lb beef burger with cheddar cheese, red onions, mixed greens, tomatoes and garlic aoli sauce with jalapenos on the side on a honey wheat bun.IMG_0828ham on top with grilled onionsIMG_0831taco turkey burgerIMG_0836veggie burger with guyere cheeseIMG_0837turkey bunless burgerIMG_0841IMG_0845
