I went to brunch a few weeks ago with some friends and checked out this place called bottega louie.  The architect and space is amazing.  I loved the clean, open and airy space.  I think the food was extra good because I was loving the ambiance.  They have a deli and bakery section where you can take items to go as well.  They also make their own pizza!  apple danish.  on the house apple muffin. egg frittata. my friend had the lemon ricotta pancake with blueberry syrupyou can see the chefs in the back are making the pizza in the wood fire oven. deli and market sectionbakerymacaroons.  I really don’t care for them but they looked so pretty.  The packaging is very cute but costs extra  if you want it in the pretty boxdesserts.

I’m tired of this June gloom and ready for some sunshine.  Although, I’ll probably be wanting it to be cooler in a few weeks.  I have a feeling it’s going to be a really hot summer.  May seemed like the month of celebration.  Went to two baby showers last month on the same day!  Did lots of driving but both showers were a lot of fun. First baby shower was for my friend A thrown by her sister.  Everything was pink!!the mommy to be and Ia decorative wall of baby clothes on a clothes line sprinkles cupcakes!the decorations were so adorable! a juicy couture stroller!!one of the party favors…lip gloss in a mini baby carriage.  so cute!us girls

Second baby shower was for my friend S. Had fun playing games and eating dessert from porto’s!j and I.  The next mommy to be??? the many giftscake from porto’ssmelly diaper gameb was the “winner”this what he really did during the entire shower. what a yuppy….always on his iphone.

Can’t wait for this goodness to start!

kobe is awesome.  dwight is an unstoppable beast.  who will win?  I’m rooting for the LAKERS!!
